Bio

 

Mark Bentley, guitar and Theresa Bentley Harp/piano, Owners of Bentley guitar Studios and the artists behind The Bentley Project.

Mark Bentley- Guitar, Ukulele, Mandolin. Bachelor of Music from UMKC, Owner of Bentley Guitar Studios 1994 to present, professor of guitar at Park University 1992-2002, professor of guitar at MWSC from 1986-2002, The Kansas City Hyatt staff guitarist from 1986 to 1994, performing artist in a traveling guitar duet for the arts counsel from 1978-1992 with concerts in the USA and in Europe. Mark is currently in the guitar and harp duo, The Bentley Project, which is actively recording and performing from 2018 to the present. 

 

Theresa Bentley- Harp, Piano, French Horn, Voice. Bachelor of Music from U. of Missouri – Columbia and MBA in Finance from UMKC.  Past Member Musician/vocalist with the Kansas City Chamber orchestra, The Kansas City Symphony Chorus, St. Joseph Symphony, Spoleto Opera Festival in Charleston SC, and Spoleto, Italy, Performances as a sub with the Kansas City Symphony, The Who, Ray Charles, and John Tesh. She is also currently in the guitar and harp duo, The Bentley Project, which is actively recording and performing from 2018 to the present as well as a performing church musician on piano and harp.
